A Quick Update…
At 5:45pm tonight my daughter Laura noticed two of the puppies had a large lump underneath their chins. Puppies number 1 (female) and puppy number 7 (male) with puppy 1’s being the largest.
I called the Vet due to the lumps being nearly the size of golf balls (I may be exageratting slightly :)) and Kim and Amy rushed them over for special after hours care.
The verdict…
Well our vet (Moama Vet) diagnosed a bacterial infection - one that can be picked up from many different places and then placed them on a 7 – 10 day antibiotic course to fix them up.
So they are all now under regular observation and all are on the antibioic course to make sure none of the other pups get the same infection.
