HALLELUYA! Thank KIM Lord

BREAKING NEWS BREAKING NEWS BREAKING NEWS

Halleluyah! Thank Kim Lord tonight! We nearly lost one of our babies this evening. It was touch and go for at least an hour but as I write this at 1:00am on the morning of the 10th of March it seems he will be fine. I just hope I don’t wake in the morning to find him dead. 🙁

So what happened?

Well, when Chloe went back into the hutch tonight at around 8pm or so, the pups were all huddled in the middle and she decided just to plonk straight down on top of them … as she does … but this time one of them—- puppy number 5—- couldn’t get out and away and so slowly he was squealing and then began to suffocate, having the life squeezed out of him.

I asked my daughter Amy to check on them as I passed the door and she was about to and then the noise subsided so she, and I, figured they’d sorted themselves out. In goes Kim to have a shower and as she does she checked the pups only to find one (puppy number 5) not moving at all hardly.

So Kim picks him up and with a lot of vigorus coaxing, rubbing and with her special nursing skills gets him breathing solidly again after nearly a half-hour of being touch and go. Then brave me takes over 🙂 and keeps up the vigorus rubbing and massaging until he seems ready to go back with the rest of them for a snooze.

After checking on him a half-hour later he was still with us and as you’ll see from the video all’s well now———cross your fingers please.

So that’s my long winded BREAKING NEWS! Now you can watch the video… 😉

So there you have it from Puppy Central 😉

Ohhh… I promised to tell you why we now call him Randy. Well during the process of getting him going properly again he reminded Kim of Randy, Earl’s brother who lays on the couch day in day out on the TV show… “My Name Is Earl”. He’s a lot more active now though. 🙂

Sincerely
Stan
