ACD PUPPIES ON THE MOVE

Saturday, March 10th, 2007

Today’s the day we move all of the pups outside… just as some of them are opening their eyes.

You’ll also see how pampered the little pooches are 🙂 when you see how we set up their kennel outside.

Enough from me… the video says it all. Watch out, it’s around 18 and a half minutes long.

Enjoy today’s Puppy UpdateTM video of our Australian Cattle Dog puppies, below. Don’t forget to click on the play button to start it. 😉

If it is still scratchy it means you have to stop it again and wait longer.

Kobe (Peanut) Arrives Safe’N’Sound in Perth

Saturday, June 24th, 2006

I would like to thank Suzanne (Nona) for the email today and the photos of KOBE (Peanut) after arrival in Perth.

Here’s the email…

—-Start—-

Dear Mum, Dad and big brother,

I have arrived OK from Melbourne, and boy what a big trip for a little puppy like me it was so lonely in that big plane. Nona picked me up from the airport and I am safe and sound at her place now. As it was such a big trip she has asked me to stay here for a few days and then I will catch another big plane with Nana.
Can you please meet me at the airport like Nona did as I can’t wait to see you all.

Love Peanut

PS love from Nona too.

—-End—-

Cool Suzanne… thanks for the email AND the photos below…

The Journey Begins for “Kobe”

Thursday, June 8th, 2006

Well it’s official, Puppy #1, “Kobe”, is headed for Dampier in WA.

Here’s “Kobe” posing for the camera at 5 weeks of agePuppy #1 -

Kelly, Jay and Kobe (snr) are over the moon and can’t wait to welcome Kobe (jnr) into their arms on the 23rd June – flight day.

Well as scary as it may be for the little tyke I know she’ll be going to a great home and hear that she may even be going fishing a few times 😉 too.

So how do we get her there? Good question.

First we call the experts in moving pets all over Australia and in this instance by air – JetPets.com.au .

With help from their friendly staff and for under $230 Jet Pets have booked and arranged a flight via Virgin Airlines Australia for “Kobe” to leave Tullamarine Airport and arrive in Perth in once piece, healthy and alive but maybe a little scared. After all it is a long way for a small 8 weeks old baby to travel alone.

“Kobe” (jnr) gets her own special puppy crate in which we’ll place her, a portion of her own puppy blanket which has the smell of her Mum and Brothers and Sisters on it, some water and a small portion of dry puppy food. This crate is all supplied by Jet Pets too.

So I’ll drop her into the airport at 6:00 am aproximately for the 8:00 am flight and after around 6 hours she should arrive in Perth where she’ll be met by her excited new family – Jay, Kelly and Kobe (snr) – the Krils.

I’ll see if I can get a photo of “Kobe” leaving us at the airport too. Just so those interested may see how well they are treated by the airport staff.

Yes as gruelling as it may sound it is by far and away the quickest and best way to transport “Kobe” (jnr) to the other side of Australia. I just know when she gets there it won’t take her but a few days to settle into her new home with the Krils.

And of course if they need any advice or support we’ll be here to help out as much as we can. That’s what we do for our family. I’m sure you’d do that for yours?

Sincerely
Lordy

PS - Don’t forget that if you’re interested in one of our other puppies that now is the time to get in and place a deposit on them. I am nearly ready to let all of the rest of my list know they are now officially for sale. After that – if there are any left I’ll start my online and offline advertising machine. Go here now to get in early…
